SALUDA SHOALS PARK PASSES

Annual Pass

This 12-month Pass entitles the bearer access to Saluda Shoals Park during regular park hours. 

Fee:  $45R/$58NR*. Hangtags for additional vehicles are $15 each.   

 

*Resident (R) fees apply to community members living in the Lexington County portion of Lexington-Richland School District 5.

 

Resident fees for SSP activities apply to all Saluda Shoals Annual Pass holders. 

 

Barking Lot Pass

Saluda Shoals Park is home to the Barking Lot Dog Park. Owners of well-mannered canines who enjoy a good romp have access to a fenced, off-leash area for their pets. All dogs must be current on required shots and spayed/neutered. Other policies apply and are listed on the application. The Barking Lot is open during normal park hours.  There are no day passes for the Dog Park.

Fee: $40R/$53NR.  (Parking Fees also apply: Annual Pass: $45R/$58NR/Daily Parking Fee: $4R/$5NR).

 

Fisherman’s Pass

This 12-month pass entitles the bearer 24-hour access to the park using a coded entry system.

Fee:  $65R/$83NR.  Additional decals are $5 each.

 

Horse Trail Pass

Horse owners can ride their horses on the beautiful trails throughout Saluda Shoals Park.  Pay a daily riding fee or purchase an Annual Horse Trail Pass.

Daily Fees: $10R/$23NR

Annual Horse Trail Pass Fee:  $40R/$53NR

Parking Fees also apply: Annual Pass: $45R/$58NR or Daily Parking Fee: $4R/$5NR

 
Fall Fly Fishing Clinic
This clinic provides an introduction to the sport of fly fishing and fly tying.  Classes are held on 3 consecutive Saturdays.  Flies featured in this course have been chosen based on their effectiveness on the river and ease of tying.  The art of fly tying is sequenced to allow students to progress from larger to more intricate patterns.  All equipment is provided.  each student receives a photo illustrated instructional presentation.  There are 3 progressive levels in this series.  First level is an introduction, 2nd level more advanced, 3rd level intricate fly tying.

Ages 12 - Adult               3 Sessions $150R/$190NR

SALUDA SPLASH
Saluda Splash is an zero depth interactive water playground. It opens the last weekend in April and is open until Labor Day. Hours of operation: 9:00 A.M. - 8:00 P.M. Saluda Splash does not operate during periods of lighting and thunder. There are no refunds due to inclement weather. FEE: $3.00 per person

HORSE TRAIL RIDES
Come out to Saluda Shoals Park and enjoy a wonderful walking trail ride through the park.  Learn how to horseback ride or simply improve your skills. No previous experience is required.  Rides last an hour (including instruction, mounting & dismounting). No double riding is permitted. Riders are required to wear long pants, boots or sturdy lace-up shoes, and helmets which are provided. You may register either by using WebTrac or by calling the Environmental Education Center at 213-2053.

Age: 6–adult  Height and weight restrictions apply.  Fees: $30R/$43NR

GUIDED TRIPS - CANOE AND KAYAK
Join us on an exciting guided river trip and see nature at its best. The trip lasts approximately three hours and includes brief paddling instruction before leaving Saluda Shoals Park.  Enjoy interpretation along the way and a possible stop at Corley Island before arriving at the Gardendale landing. If the river conditions are conducive, the guide will initially lead your party upstream, to hopefully catch a glimpse of the resident Bald Eagles. All equipment and return shuttle service are included. Private Guided trips can also be scheduled (3 person minimum).  48-hour advance reservations required. You may register either by using WebTrac or by calling the Environmental Education Center at 213-2053.

CANOE AND KAYAK RENTALS
Canoes and Kayaks are available for rent daily between the hours of 10:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. This is a great way to get an upper body workout and see the world from a really different perspective. Rental fees are taken at the Environmental Education Center.  Rentals include all necessary equipment. Boats and equipment must be returned to the boat launch area by 5:00 P.M. for check-in by park staff.  Call 731-5208 for information.

Canoe, Tandem and Solo Kayak Rental Fees: $38 for 3-Hours; $48 All Day Rental; and $23 1-hour (only on weekends)

Shuttle Service: $10 per boat Shuttles pick up at 1:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M. daily.
