Each year, the Saluda Shoals Foundation is honored to host soldiers from Fort Jackson who are unable to be home with family during the holidays. This year, we welcomed 220 soldiers for a special evening at Holiday Lights on the River, including dinner, s’mores, a drive through the lights, and a slide down the Winter Wonder tube slides. Mark your calendars for Shuckin’ on the Shoals Oyster Roast — the Saluda Shoals Foundation’s annual fundraiser, coming to Saluda Shoals Park on Saturday, February 21, from 5–8 p.m. Enjoy all-you-can-eat fresh steamed oysters and shrimp, delicious vegetarian chili & tasty sides, craft beer and wine, live music featuring the Flossie Dog Band, and exciting raffle and prize drawings!
