Senior Programs
Irmo Chapin Recreation Commission is dedicated to offering safe, accessible recreation and social support programs for seniors that encourage them to live happy, productive and independent lives. Our parks feature a wide variety of programs specifically designed for men and women ages 50 and older. Here are some examples of current programs:

Special Events & Luncheons
Irmo Chapin Recreation Commission hosts several events throughout the year targeting individuals ages 50 and older. Several luncheons are held that provide entertainment and community fellowship for seniors. Other events offer health and wellness opportunities for seniors of all ages and abilities. Below is a list of events and luncheons:
- Pot of Gold Bingo Luncheon at Crooked Creek Park (March)
- BINGO Brunch at Seven Oaks Park
- Senior Picnic at Saluda Shoals Park
- Spring Health Fair at Seven Oaks Park
- Zumbathon for Meals on Wheels at Seven Oaks Park (October)
- Thanksgiving Luncheon at Crooked Creek Park (November)
- Goodwill Holiday Brunch at Irmo High School (December)
