After an incredible 44-year career with Mid-Carolina Electric Cooperative, Janice retired in 2023 and enjoys life on beautiful Lake Murray with her husband, Lee. Janice is a proud mom to one daughter and grandmother to two grandsons. For the past several years, students from Lexington-Richland District Five’s Center for Advanced Technical Studies have designed and built displays for Holiday Lights on the River. And they're back at it again this year! The students take on every part of the process, from desinging and welding, to electrial work, coding and animation. We’re so proud to have their work as part of our light show. Thank you to the Center, the students and their teachers for all the creativity and hard work they put into these displays each year.
