Program Assistant
Must be at least 21 years old.
Works closely with the Saluda Shoals Park Program Coordinator to assist with the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs and special events. Responsibilities include event preparation, participant and vendor interaction, registration support, volunteer coordination, basic cash handling and recordkeeping, marketing assistance, and maintaining program supplies and equipment. Provides excellent customer service, follows park policies and procedures, helps ensure participant safety, and performs related administrative duties. Must be able to work evenings and weekends. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age on their first day of employment. Position may require the serving of alcohol and non-alcohol beverages to patrons. If serving alcohol, employee must be Tips certified.
