As the holiday season approaches, there’s no better way to kick off the festivities than with the Sleigh Bell Trot at Saluda Shoals Park. This unique nighttime event offers an exclusive preview of the Midlands' largest drive-through light show, Holiday Lights on the River, featuring millions of dazzling lights and animated displays.
What to Expect
Participants in the Sleigh Bell Trot can look forward to running or walking along a route illuminated by vibrant, colorful lights. This magical experience not only gets you moving but also immerses you in the holiday spirit as you take in the stunning displays along the way.
Event Details
- Check-in: 5:00–6:50 p.m.
- Trot starts: 7:00 p.m.
- Fees: Trot Early Bird by 11/14: $35 per person; 11/15–11/24: $40 per person; 11/25: $45 per person
- Trot awards: To 1–3 place finishers male & female, 8 & under, 10 & under, 12 & under, 14 & under, 19 & under, 24 & under, 29 & under, 34 & under, 39 & under, 44 & under, 49 & under, 54 & under, 59 & under, 64 & under, 69 & under, 70 & over.
- Trot race registrants receive: Finisher’s medal, t-shirt, and water stations (t-shirt guaranteed only for early bird registration)
Location and Parking: All parking for the events will be at the east entrance of Saluda Shoals Park. The Trot will start and finish at the park's east end, ensuring easy access for participants. Enter the park at 6071 St. Andrews Rd. between Wendy’s and Aldi.
